HIS 15TH. APPEARANCE.

OLD OFFENDER BEFORE COURT, INDECENT LANGUAGE. George Edgar Pengellv. alias .Tames Williams, a cook, aged 34, made his fifteenlh appearance before the Court this morning. A complaint was received by Constable Brown on Tuesday evening that a man, in a drunken condition, was using indecent language in the doorway of a tohneconisFs shop in Victoria Sleeel, North. The constable subsequently arrested accused, who had in his possession a pair of stolen shoes.

Before Air Wyvern Wilson, S.AI., in the Hamilton ATagistrate’s Court Ibis morning. Pengelly was charged with being intoxicated, using ideceni language. and stealing a pair of shoes, valued at £1 3s fid, the property of Ronald Ebbett. He pleaded guilty to all charges. A fine of 5s on the charge of drunkenness was imposed, and on the other two charges accused was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment on cacti, the sentences to lie concurrent.
