FIRE IN HAMILTON.
LITTLE DAMAGE DONE. The Hamilton Fire Brigade received a call In an outbreak in llailenstein Bros.’ drapery store at 5. i A last evening. The shop was closed at 5.30 p.m.. and Hie manager, Air. E. P. Liddell, reluming at 5.15. noticed smoke pouring from Hie back room. He immedialeiy summoned Ihe brigade, and rushed into the room with a chemical fire extinguisher. Mr. Liddell soon had Hie fire under control and the services of ihe brigade were not required*. The outbreak occurred in a room containing rubber hoots. There was little damage done.
