ROSE-TINTED MIRRORS.
EVERYBODY BEAUTIFUL. Rose-tinted mirrors that have the effect of beautifying the most _ P a j^ d complexion will be a feature in the decorations of the ballroom of tne i Dorchester Hotel, which nearing completion in Park Lane, W., states an overseas journal. A representative of the decoration contractors said to a reporter recently: "Women when they choose where they will dine go to the restaurant in which the lighting and other considerations of colour show them off to the best advantage, so we are employing entirely novel methods in ballroom decoration. Rosetinted mirrors are being used for the first time, and in connection with specially arranged soft lights. The result will-be that everybody will look their best. The walls of the ballroom will be draped with oyster-coloured satin, and placed round the room will be these pink-tinted mirrors, supported by columns of black glass, while over each mirror will i>e placed a candelabra in tone with the colour and general surroundings of the room.
