LABOUR DAY PLAY. INTER-SECTION MATCHES. Weather permitting, inter-section matches will be played at Hamilton on Labour Day. Senior A section will play Senior B and another Senior B team will play the junior representatives. The matches will take place on Nos. 3 and 4 wickets at Seddon Park: Following are the teams: —■ Senior B, to play Senior A.—E. Johnston, Dempsey, Cassells, Park, Fisher, Snowling, Griffiths, Hutchison, Wright, Mann, Davies, Dobson. Senior B to play Juniors.—F. Johnston, Price, Weslwater, Hubbard, Nodder, McKenzie, Bamford, Reese, Dempsey, Leech, Seccombe, Stott and Dougherty.
The junior team will be selected from tlie following:—Dance, Worth, Delaney, S- 01}nn, G. Whiting, J. West, Phillips, Crabb, Ilunwick, Absolum, Gillespie, lvilburn, Curteis, Jackman, Watson. OPENING POSTPONED. OWING TO HEAVY RAIN. DUNEDIN, Saturday. Owing to heavy rain overnight the opening of grade cricket has 'beeu postponed.
