MOTOR ACCIDENTS.

CAR CRASHES INTO POST. SEVERAL PEOPLE INJURED. AUCKLAND, Saturday. A motor-car crashed into a verandah post outside the shop of George Fowdds, Limited, Queen Street, last evening. A small child was thrown out of danger by his mother. Severe injuries to the head were received by Mr Stanley Fowler, married, aged 48, of Mount Eden. Mrs E. Irving suffered minor cuts to the head and face and a severe shaking. Her son, aged about five years, escaped unhurt. Another man was bruised on the forehead and badly shaken.

The car - was driven by Mr G Walker.
