A cat on a lead following its mistress in the streets or a lap cat in a motor-car threatens to be the next sensation of up-to-date women. So says Mrs Campbell Fraser, the wellknown judge at cat shows. The craze has already made some headway. Mrs Fraser points out that cats do not need so much exercise as dogs; therefore, they are more suitable as pets in flat life in the big cities. A cat of a valuable breed, such as Blue Persian, is well calculated to arouse feminine envy as a Pekinese dog.
