KICKED BY A HORSE.

YOUNG WOMAN HURT. (By Telegraph.—press Association.) OTOROHANGA, Saturday. A young half-caste woman, Mrs Tine Thompson, of the Mangaorongo district, was brought into Otorohanga on Thursday night, as the result of a severe kick on the forehead by a fractious horse she was handling. The sufferer .is said to be out of danger.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, Saturday. John Tajt, aged 83, residing at Mr Walter Harrison’s farm at Mara Rakaunui, in the district of Akitio, was severely injured by a kick on the head by a sick horse. He was taken to the Pahiatua Hospital, and is still .unconscious.
