High winds mostly from a northerly direction and heavy showers. The barometer will probably commence to fise after 24 hours, when improved conditions may be expected. The rainfall for the 24 hours amounts to 0.75 points. Mean temperature, 56 degrees. . The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for southerly winds, strong to gale. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled.
