Football Dance. The annual football dance, usually a big event for Kaipaki, was held in the hall. Owing to other attractions the crowd was not quite as large as in other years, but a most enjoyable time was passed. by Clayton’s orchestra- (Cambridge), and extra music was provided by Miss A, Millar (Iflautapu). Messrs C. Barr and S. Kito .efficiently carried out the duties of M’s.C. A confetti dance and two Monte Carlo dahees were arranged, the latter being won by Miss Mavis Higgins and Mr George Higgins, and by Miss Teddy and partner, respectively.

A euchre drive for non-dancers was in charge of Mr J. Boyd, and prizes were, won by Miss M. Cowley and Mr \V. Willowly; consolation, Mrs McCarthy and Mr Jack Speake. The supper arrangements were in the hands of the wives and friends'of the executive committee.

On the stage was exhibited the silver cup and the shield which have been won by the juniors, and which were officially presented some time back on the foolball ground. These juniors have had a wonderfully good run, this being the third successive year that the Cambridge Rugby Union’s cup has been won by them, added to which the Fitzgerald Shield has been won this year.
