A simple idea which is already being exploited in the United States is making a fortune for the man who thought of it. Briefly, it consists of adapting the roller-top desk principle to wooden-soled bathing sandals. Ordinary rubber bathing shoes do not give sufficient protection against sharp surfaces, and the w'ooden-soled clog does not give to the instep. The rolled-top desk principle applied to the base of the clog solves both problems.

We do want one, though, lor the fathers and mothers—one where they may learn their duty to their children. There is need for this, for so many of them do not know how to care in the right way for their children, so that other institutions have to undertake the work they should have done.”
