EDWARDS DEFEATS PASHA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. In a thrilling bout of wrestling this evening, Edwards, 13st lib, defeated Kara Pasha, 12st 91b, by two falls to one. At the finish the crowd booed and cheered in wild excitement. Kara Pasha, after the uproar had. died down, issued a challenge to Edwards to meet again at any time under any conditions. The contest was the cleanest and most open seen in Dunedin this year. LOGAN DEFEATS EBERT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Thursday. In a wrestling bout this evening T. Logan (America) defeated F. Ebert (Austria) in the seventh round. 'Ebert had a fall in hand, and attempted to butt Logan, who stepped aside. Ebert crashed through the ropes to the floor, and was unable to continue. NO COMPROMISE LIKELY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. No compromise in the dispute between the Dominion Wrestling Union and the New Zealand Wrestling' Association is likely to take place during the remainder of the season.
