1500 ON BOARD. FLAMES OUT OF CONTROL. LARGE DEATH ROLL FEARED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received May 23, 9.30 a.m.) JEDDAH, May 22. The French steamer A6ia left with 1500 pilgrims for Southern Red Sea ports. She subsequently caught fire in the harbour and the blaze was out of oontrol. The steamer could not be approached. It Is feared there are 100 dead.
