VALUE OF ADVERTISING.
PROVED BY RESULTS. “Twenty-one years ago I started in the faith that newspaper advertising would prove successful for my clients. To-day I am convinced of it.” Sir Charles Higham, who recently completed twenty-one years as an advertising specialist in Fleet Street, London, made that comment to a representative of the Sunday Times when discussing advertising. Sir Charles, who . wrote powerful Government appeals for men and money during the way, was the first advertising man to he elected to the Rouse of Commons. He represented South Islington from 1918 to 1922, and has built up a unique business as an advertising consultant and adviser.
“I am the only advertising agent in the world who devotes the whole of his clients appropriations to 'the Press. I believe in the Press. It has built up a successful business for me, and it has meant success for my clients,” said Sir Charles.
