The first round of the competition for the Gilbey Cup, which is decided by the best aggregate for two rounds of handicap play against bogey, took place at St. Andrews on Saturday. HAMILTON LADIES’ CLUB. The following is the order of draw for the second round of the Captain’s trophy to be played on Wednesday, commencing at first tee: —12.8 p.m., Mrs Hazard plays Mrs T. A. Milroy; 12.16, Mrs C. A. Arthur plays Miss W. Manning; 12.20, winner of Mrs Batt and Miss Mackay plays Mrs Masters; 12.24, Mrs L. Day plays Mrs W. Aitken; 12.28, Mrs W. M. Horton, plays Mrs H. D. Matthews; 12.32, winner of Mrs A. English and Miss Cann plays Mrs Mander; 12.36, winner of Mrs Hay and Mrs Primrose plays Miss K. Wilson; 12.40, Mrs E. Bartlett plays Mrs C. 0. Bennett. The following Is the draw for the second round of the Gillies’ Vase to be played on Wednesday, commecing at first tee: —12.44, Miss McLean plays Mrs Peterson; 12.48, Mrs A. James plays Mrs A. T- Atkins; 12.52, Mrs T. G. Fraser plays Mrs A. J. Bond; 12.56, Mrs F. Gruar plays Mrs H. G. Ross. Players not on tee at time drawn will be placed at end of the draw. A one day open tourney will be played on Thursday. On Wednesday, May 28, a medal round and the Coronation medal will be played.
