PETER PAN’S LETTER.
, JQEAR GIRLS AND BOYS,— Peter was swamped with entries for the “ Our House” painting competition and he had quite the most difficult time yet in choosing the winning entries. , Lorna Stockley deserves special praise for her quaint and pretty mounting on a frame of pressed flowers—as If to surround the house with a lovely garden. The winners thoroughly deserve their prizes and we hope they enjoy them. This week we have our last painting contest—and the prettiest, too. Peter Pan Is looking forward to some really lovely paintings being sent in, because the sketch Is so attractive. What welcome rain we had during the week ! Although the showers were very light about the town, they fell more heavily In the outdistricts and benefited the farms. It was a pity that the Air Pageant at Rotorua had to be postponed. Were any of you there on Easter Monday ? The Inclemency of the weather prevented many ’planes from attending, but the three already there provided plenty of thrills for the crowds of spectators. No more news for you this week—best of luck to you all In the Competition I =!== leieA, lLw. =
