N.Z. SPORTING REVIEW.
This week's issue of the New Zealand Sporting and Dramatic Review is notable for the many special features introduced appearing exclusively in this up-to-date publication. First' of all is a unique series of Royal comic opera favourites of long ago, forming a striking contrast with the beautiful studies of modern favourites of the stage in the stage and screen, sections. Mention must be made of the stalely new Power Board building appearing in a beautiful full-page view, a saucy frontispiece of Rosetta Duncan, and a •page expressing fashion’s latest fancies. The Queen visits the East End, Eton cross-country runs, model aeroplane meet; beach sports are the titles of some of the. interesting pictures in the double-centre pages. Thrilling pictures of starts, finishes, and incidents during the racing at the Auckland Racing Club’s Carnival will prove a veritable treat. Another wellreproduced page presents patrons on the lawn at the Waikato Meeting. Tennis is represented by a full page of the winning teams of the Campbell Park Club. From abroad comes a fine assortment of up-to-date illustrations.
