THE CUP FINAL. HUDDERSFIELD V. ARSENAL. HUGE CROWD ASSURED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright. (Received April 26, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, April 25. The big invasion of London has already begun. Hundreds of excursion trains are arriving to-night and to-morrow, bringing spectators for the Cup final between Huddersfield and Arsenal. Every one of the 92,488 seats at Wembley Stadium was sold long ago, and as many more could have been sold. His Majesty the King and the Prince of Wales arc both expected to attend. Thousands from all parts of the country who are unable to come to London will listen-in to a wireless running comment on the year’s greatest Association football event. It will be a clash between teams from North and South, which cost great sums in transfers. Huddersfield paid £20,000 for their players. One player, from the Bolton Wanderers, cost the Arsenal the record fee of £IO,OOO. Huddersfield has twice won the Cup, but Arsenal has never before taken part in the final. It is a unique opportunity to compare the enormous crowds with those of Test cricket matches.
