LOCAL OBSEHVATIONS. Miss Buck!, manager of the optician business in the estate of the late Mr J. Bremner, supplies the following observations on the weather:—■ Harometer. Saturday 30.15 Thermometer. Max. Min. Saturday 62.00 52.00 The barometer has a slightly falling tendency. Indications are for fair to overcast weather to-dav fol- | lowed later by unsettled con- | ditions. Mean temperature 57 degrees. The Weather Bureau Wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for variable and moderate breezes, northerly prevailing, freshening. There is a prospect, of fair weather, but it is likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following later; milder. .Barometer falling slowly.
