NEW ZEALANDERS PRAISED
CRAIGAVON’S IMPRESSIONS. EMPIRE’S WONDERLAND. united Press Assn. —Elen. Tel.—Copyright. LONDON, March 15. Viscount Craigavon, Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, upon his arrival from New Zealand, said lie was greatly interested lo learn of Air. Baldwin’s proposal for closer trade relations within the Empire. Such a policy w'ould be acclaimed in New Zealand, which was second only to Ulster in its loyalty and Imperialistic aims. Lord Craigavon said he would like to see an effort made to promote travel within the Empire on British ships. The people of Britain, unfortunately, had drifted into the Continental holiday habit, and were neglecting the Empire's wonderlands. If those who desired to winter abroad could he induced to go to the Antipodes they would not only be trad-' ing with the Empire but acquiring most valuable first-hand know’ledge of their kith and kin overseas. This would strengthen the friendships on which the Empire was built.
