discharge granted. Discharge from bankruptcy was granted by His Honour, Mr Justice Smith, at Hamilton, to-day, to Mary Helen Mcllwain, formerly a storekeeper, of Motumaoho. The Official Assignee, Mr V. 11. Crowhurst, said there were certain circumstances of the bankruptcy which ordinarily would have caused the application to be opposed. Owing, however, Lo the fact that bankrupt lud lately become a widow, as there was no prospect of her entering into business again, and as, furthermore, the official assignee, who bad dealt \Ui.i tho-case regarded bankrupt as an honest woman, no opposition would be offered.
