PLEASANT EVENING

FAREWELL PRESENTATION, A very pleasant evening was spent i:-: at the residence of Air W. H. P. West, 3 Ohaupo, when relatives and a few 3 friends met together to wish bon voy--3 age to Air and Airs A. Clothier, River A; Road, who are leaving on a tour for $ England in a few days. ' Games were * indulged in. till the supper bell rang. 3 when, after partaking of the dainties provided, Air W. AlcLachlan, on behalf of those present, presented Air and Airs ’Clothier with a handsome travelling rug. The happy evening Si ierminated with the singing of “Auld 3 Rang Syne.”
