WEDDING

COX—KEMP. The marriage of Miss 'L. G. Kemp to Mr. C. A. Cox was quietly celebrated at the residence of .the bride’s mother, Mrs Kemp, at Glen Massey, recently. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mrs S. Kemp, wore a charming frock of shell pink, accordeon pleated geoorgette and carried a prayer book and carnations. Mrs JGumming, matron of honour, wore rose beige knit silk embroidered in fawn and carried a pink and blue bouquet. Mr D. Kemp acted as best man and the ceremony was performed by the Rev. Martin of Ngaruawahia. Mrs. Kemp received the guests in black charmeuse silk and the bridegroom’s mother, Mrs Cox, was in velvet. The happy couple, who were the recipients of many congratulatory telegrams left for their honeymoon after the wedding breakfast.
