PHILHARMONIC CHOIR

PRESENTATION. At the close of tlie weekly practice last evening an opportunity was taken by members to hid farewell to Sister Murray, who is shortly leaving Hamilton to join the Methodist Mission in the Solomon Islands. In making a presentation of a travelling rug, the conductor, Mr Webster, spoke in high praise of Miss Murray's excellent work and loyal help as accompanist ever since the formation of the choir, and expressed tlic society's best, wishes for her future. Members of Ike choir also added their tribute of appreciation and good wishes.
