Mr Thomas Mitten, of Philadelphia, a widely-known railway magnate, who was drowned a week ago, left most of his estate, valued at £2,000,000, to advance the cause of the co-opera-tion of Labour and Capital. Although the will is invalid owins lo legal technicality, deceased's son announces that' he will carry out its terms and create a foundation embodying liis father’s ideas.
