VISIT TO TE AROHA. FINALISING ARRANGEMENTS. The Mayor, Mr R. Coulter, presided at a meeting last evening of members of the Te Aroha Borough Council and Chamber of Commerce convened to consider means of entertaining the commerce train patrons to arrive at Te Aroha on November 16. A discussion took place as to whether a dinner or smoke concert should be held on Saturday evening, and it was decided that a sub-committee make the final arrangements, with power to act. A letter was read from the Matarnata Chamber of Commerce, stating that the arrangements proposed for the Sunday were as follows—Leave To Aroha 0 a.m., arrive Matamata 9.45 a.m.; leave Matamata 10 a.m., arrive Okoroiro 10.35 a.rn.; leave Okoroire 11.35 a.rn., arrive Okauia Springs 12 (noon) ; leave Okaiua 1.15 p.m., arrive Te Aroha 1.40 p.m. It was considered that fully 20 motor cars would Ijc required for the Sunday trip, but that very little difficulty would be experienced la securlae the requisite number.
