A SUCCESSFUL SEASON. LAMBS DO WELL. The docking season has been completed at the Ruakura State Farm, and notwithstaiildiwg a fairly heavy loss due to torrential rain during June and August 118 per cent, were docked calculated on the number of ewes put to the rams. Climatic conditions have been very favourable for lambs and they have done particularly well to date. Shearing of dry sheep was commenced yesterday and the wool is in very good condition for this time of the year. Over 100 cows have calved and production is very satisfactory. Very little calving trouble was experienced, said Mr. Munro. the manager, to-day.
