VICAR OF CAMBRIDGE

AUSTRALIAN POSITION. IMPORTANT APPOINTM ENT. RECTOR OF ADELAIDE CHURCH. The Rev. E. Lionel Harvle, vicar of Cambridge, has been appointed rector of St. Bartholomew’s, Adelaide, In succession to Archdeacon IVloyes, who has taken up his duties as Bishop of Armldale, N.S.W. This is an important clerical appointment, St. Bartholomew's being the largest Anglican Church in the capital of South Australia. Mr Harvie was chosen from a large number of applicants from all quarters. He has handed in his resignation to the Bishop of Waikato and will leave for Australia at the end of next month.
