SIR JAMES PARR
TO RE-ENTER POLITICS.
AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The statement that Sir James Parr, at present High Commissioner for New Zealand in England, is eager to return to the Dominion and re-enter polities, was marie yesterday by Sir Harold Beauchamp, who returned from a trip to England by the Rcrnuera.
"Sir Janies,” said Sir Harold, “desires lo return to New Zealand. He is keen lo re-enter the political arena, with his experience enriched by his work in London. He recognises that to lie out of sight is to be out of mind as far as polities are concerned, and ho is firmly of the opinion that there is work for him to do in New Zealand just as important as that he has been doing in England. "Sir James is an ideal man for bis present position, and it would lie to the beiieft of New Zealand if lie stayed in England for a further term. However, even if he was offered an extended term of office, lie would probably not accept it. According to presepl arrangements, I understand, he will return early next year."
