WAIKATO TIMES PICNIC
PROVISION FOR EXTRA SEATS. NO CONFUSION POSSIBLE. Despite the steady inquiry for tickets for the Waikato Times annual picnic, ample provision has been made, by ordering extra carriages to ensure that everyone making the trip will have seating accommodation on the train. The thorough arrangements made by the commiLtee will ensure that no confusion is caused. The picnic will be held on the plantation at The Mount, Tauranga, where hot water and milk will be provided free. An attractive sports programme has been drawn up, and it is intended to run the various events on the beach, where everyone will be catered for, from the small tots to the old buffers. The sale of tickets closes with the secretary, Waikato Times Office, on Friday evening.
