ARREST AT WAHAROA. STRUGGLE WITH CONSTABLE. (By Temgraph—Press Association.) MATAMATA, Saturday. William Roy Reardon was brought before Messrs J. \V. Simpson and A. J. Tong, J’s.P., to-day, charged with being idle and disorderly, resisting the police, using obscene language, and the theft of £2O from R. Jopson, Malamala. The accused was arrested at Waharoa by Constable Mathieson after a severe struggle. At the request of the police a remand was granted till the 23rd inst., an application for bail being refused by the Bench.
