DANGER IN CHINA.

FROM ROUTED TROOPS. GENERAL PREPARES TO FLEE (Australian Press Association.) (Received April 23, 10.30 a.m.) SHANGHAI, April 22. It is possible a double danger may arise out of the demoralised state of the Northern troops. The majority of the missionaries have evacuated to Tsingtao. A most significant report comes from the battlefront that General Chang Chung, military governor of Shantung, commanding the defeated Northern forces, has sent his family to Tsingtao and deposited 7,000,000 dollars in foreign banks in preparation for flight.
