ASSEMBLY IN SEPTEMBER

NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Prime Minister stated to-day that no definite statement could be made at present as to whether NewZealand would be represented directly by a delegate from the Dominion at the League of Nations Assembly in September. Referring to the meeting of the Mandates Commission in .tune. Mr Coates saiil the High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, Sir James Parr, would be the Dominion's chief delegate, together with Major-General Sir George Richardson, the retiring Administrator of Samoa, who is to state, as " the person most competenl to do so," New Zealand's position in regard to Western Samoa.
