YOUTH'S VENTURE IN FINANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Wednesday. A youth named Athol Henry Oeighton was committed to a Borstal Institute for three years by Mr McKcan, S-M., on a charge that on March 14 he received £ls from a piano dealer as a loan on his father's piano, and three days later sold it to another dealer for £25.
AT PALMERSTQN NORTH. PALMERSTON N.. Wednesday. William Alfred Temokina Walden, aged 26, a dairy factory employee, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial this morning on sexual charges. Stephen Gough (31), a. grocer, was committed for trial on a charge of breaking and entering a house at Palmerston North on March 25 with intent to commit, a crime.
