Y.M.C.A. CONFERENCE.

EXTENSION OF WORK. CHRISTCHIiRCH. Wednesday. At the Y.M.C.A. convention to-day the president of the National Council, Mr H. K. Wilkinson, referred to the association's increased work among boys, and said tho number nf boys' clubs had increased from 152 lo 173. The work in the camps had also increased, there being £7B boys in camp during the summer period. The presence nf the Y.M.C.A. in the Borstal Institute camp was a step jn the further close co-operation between the Y.M.C.A. and the various reformative committees of the Government.
