DIRECTOR'S BIG THEFTS. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Robert Sproull Hutton Menzies (-48) pleaded guilty at the Magistrate's Court to-day to the theft of £990 from the firm of Scott and Menzies, in which he was joint managing director with Scott. He had been in financial difficulties from the commencement of the business in 1926, and had used the Arm's money for his own purposes by making out fictitious dockets, to meet which cheques were drawn. He was committed to the Suprme Court for sentence. Bail was allowed
