TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS
PAPERS BY PBOFESSORS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Industrial Conference was continued to-day. There was further debate on papers read by the Professors of Economics, and the professors replied.
FARMERS' UNION'S VIEW. ABOLITION NOT ASKED. WELLINGTON, Thursday. A statement setting out the views of the New Zealand Farmers' Union in regard to the Arbitration Act was placed before the Industrial Conference today by the president. Mr W. Poison. The opinion was expressed that the present system was detrimental to the welfare of the country and a suggestion was made that the Court should consist of three Supreme Court judges,
