A British official wireless message says the King and Queen Souriya were given an enthusiastic welcome to .Sheffield. Their Majesties visited several important works in the steel-making city and watched some remarkable experiments. These included the rolling of a :i5-ton ingot into armour plate and the tiring of bullets against bulletproof steel helmets. The latter were merely dented.
