AERIAL FLIGHTS.
ACROSS THE ATLANTIC. FRENCHMEN'S FEVERI3W ACTIVITY. SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO BE MADE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, March 27. French naval airmen are feverishly speeding up preparations for transAtlantic flights. Two seaplanes, to be piloted by Captain Guilbrand and Lieutenant Paris respectively, will fly via the Azores. The Brequet Company is arranging for MM. Oostc and Lebrix to attempt a direct trans-Atlantic flight. Also MM. Corbu and Givon are to make a new attempt in a Farman Bluebird with a radius of .'i2so miles.

SUICIDE TO START NOW. UNFAVOURABLE WEATHER (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received March 29, 9.5 a.m.) BERLIN, March 28. It would be suicide if Koehl started now, say weather experts at Hamburg Observatory, but they refuse to issue oflicial forecasts, because they wish to steer clear of anything like that, lest they give the impression that they arc influencing or assisting Koehl. ACROSS THE PACIFIC. COL'ONEL LINDBERG'S INTENTIONS NEW YORK, March 27. The New York World says the American airman, Colonel Charles Lindberg. may fly across the Pacific. His desire to fly to Tokio, Japan, has been intimated from time to time. The possibility that he will again fly across the sea received an impetus when Lindbergh made a lengthy call upon Mr Robert Olds, Acting Secretary of State. The conference is described as having been very important, but nothing is stated as to its precise nature.
ENGLISHWOMAN'S FLIGHT. ARRIVAL AT LUXOR. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) CAIRO. March 27. The English airwoman, Lady Bailey, has arrived at. Luxor, Cpper Egypt, on her flight to Capetown.
