TRAINING AT ELLERSLIE. THIS MORNING'S WORK. PRINCESS RONNIE GALLOPS WELL (By Telegraph—Special to Times. ) AUCKLAND, Thursday. The weather was dull, though fine, for the training at Ellersllc ttiis morning. Although rain hart fallen overnight, the tracks were in good order. No. 1 grass track was' open, while there was one gallop on the course proper. Salamander was sent over a mile and completed the journey in 1.41) 3-5.

On No. 1 grass Diamond Queen was the first to work, jumping off at the six-furlong post and running home in 1.20 1-5. Mem Sahib and Mashoor were companions over seven furlongs, covered in 1.35 1-5. Both went well. Restaurant and Semicircle left half-a-mile behind in 53 1-5. Gold Money and King Emerald occupied 1.26 1-5 to run six furlongs, but neither was doing his best. Winsome Boy was better than Euphane at the finish of five furlongs in 1.6 3-5. * Ballymoy 11. worked fredly over a round, which she traversed in 1.58 3-5. Marita was timed to run five furlongs in 1.7 1-5. Parfait Amour ran home from the flvc-furlongs post in 1.5 2-5. He appeared to go well. The Fox started off slowly from the six-furlongs post and completed the journey in 1.24, the last five furlongs taking 1.9 4-5. Idun took 1.10 2-5 to traverse five furlongs. Bulole went very freely over six furlongs, completed in 1.19 1-5. Avoncourt and justify finished on terms at the end of five furlongs in 1.5 3-5. . , . Jolly Money was going nicely beside Tea Money over a similar journey, which occupied 1.7 2-5. Daylight was timed to run the last half-mile of his work in 55 4-5. Blue Spear was a shade better than Pompeius at the end of five furlongs in 1.7. Archibald did strong work over a round, completing the distance in' 2-3 , 1-5. There was little between Storm Fiend and Welkne at the finish of six furlongs, run in 1.18 2-5. Taneriri and Fungus were together at the end of three furlongs, run in 38 1-5. Nola Night and Kauri Park were about on terms at the end of six furlongs, run in 1.22 2-5. Mon Star gave Kamehameha several lengtfts start from the half-mile post and was almost on terms when the post was reached. The time was 54 4-5 Mon Star doing better than that. Hone Heke and Royal Trek ran the last half-mile in 55 2-5. Archeno sprinted hali'-a-mile in 52 2-5, while Whakarite was going easily in running a similar distance in 58. Master Doon- did strong work over seven furlongs. Harbour View sprinted half-a-mile in 50 3-5 —a distance which Good Boy accomplished in 56. Sylvanus ran home from the nvefurlongs post in 1.8 3-5. Princess Ronnie registered another -brilliant gallop over the round, which she completed in 1.51 3-5, the last s^x furlongs taking 1.17 4-5. This was an excellent performance. Master Clements was going better than Marble Mount over four furlongs, run in 55 4-5.
