GALA DAY.
AND PADDY'S MARKET. AT STEELE PARK ON SATURDAY. On Saturday next a Gala Day and Paddy's Market will be held at Steele Park on behalf of the funds of the Hamilton East Bowling anil Cricket Clubs. "All the fun of ihc fair" will be provided in Ihc comprehensive programme drawn up, and there will be amusement for all. In the Paddy's Market' there will be produce stalls, fancy work stalls, home made cakes, etc., confectionery and soft drinks, afternoon tea marquee, bran tubs, etc. The side shows and competitions will include box skittles, exhibitions boxing and wrestling, touch 'cms, ping pong tournaments, golf putting, stepping the chain, nail driving, weight guessing (sheep and pig), men's hat trimming, clowns, etc., etc. Then there will be a Baby Show, three classes—under six months, twelve months, two years. This will interest the mothers.
A special programme of sports, for adults and children, will also be submitted.
The Municipal Band will be in attendance. The proceeds will be in aid of the pavilion fund and ground improvements. Steele Park will present an animated scene on Saturday afternoon, for of course, everyone will be there.
