THE WEATHER.
The following barometer and thermomenter readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions arc kindly supplied by Mr Jas. Brcmncr:
Barometer low at 29.75, having fallen over half an inch since Saturday's reading. Indications are for generally fair weather, with probably an occasional shower. Winds light, from a southerly direction. Saturday and Sunday were unsettled; l.loin. of rain fell; winds were northerly. Mean temperature 49deg. The Weather Bureau wires for 24 hours from 9 a. m. this day: The indications are for moderate to strong winds backing- by west to south. Weather, cloudy to overcast. Bain probable. Barometer unsteady.
