N.Z. MANUFACTURES.
HAMILTON SHOPPING WEEK. The ultimate growth of the Waikato as a farming district is not confined to the overseas market for dairy produce. Here in New Zealand, at our own door, is a potential market for primary and secondary farm products which is growing every day, providing many farmers wilh an increasingly profitable livelihood. Farmers in turn can help I heir fellow New Zealandcrs to a larger prosperity by insisting whenever possible on home products. Scores of things are now produced by New Zealandcrs which a few short years ago were the monopoly of foreigners. The Hamilton Retailers' Association have organised a special week of displays and demonstrations of New Zealand industries during the week May 3 to May 8. Here farmers will be able to sec for themselves the'achievements of New Zealand in every branch of manufacturing, and can prove that the quality and price of their products arc deserving of a great, future. Arrangements are being made to have the windows lit up eacli night during the week and the display should be a striking one.
