MOTOR AND LIQUOR.
CHERTSEY RESIDENT FINED. ASHBURTON, Thursday. George Chambers, of Chertsey, pleaded guilty to being drunk wlmc in charge of a motor-car at Rakaia, and to driving without a license. On the first charge a line of £ia and costs was imposed, and an order made that accused should not have a license for six months. On the second charge lie was convicted and discharged.
