mSROUCT NOTICES. BOROUGH OF HAMILTON. MAEROA WEST SPECIAL RATING AREA. "JJOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hamilton Borough Council proposes to raise a special loan under the provisions of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” for the benefit of that portion of the Borough of Hamilton described in the Schedule hereto and hereinafter referred to as the Maeroa West Special Rating Area. The purpose for which the loan is required is t.o pay the ■ cost of all necessary labour, materials, plant, tools, engineers’ fees, plans, supervision and compensation to owners of property for or in respect of the following public works in the said Maeroa West Special Rating Area. For laying, constructing, supplying and fitting mains, pipes, machinery, meters, fittings and appliances for the supply of water. .. £5450 For making and constructing sewer drains and drainage works £9750 The total amount to be borrowed is £15200 The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of sevcnpence halfpenny in the pound on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateabla property in the said Maeroa West Special Rating Area. It is proposed that the loan shall be repayable in not more than Thirtysix and a-half years and to make provision for a sinking fund of not less than one per centum per annum. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest and sinking fund; also the preliminary expenses incurred in connection with the schemed for which the loan was raised as are payable under the said Act.

ALL THAT AREA in the Borough of Hamilton bounded commencing at the point where the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream crosses the Eastern boundary of the North Island Main Trunk Railway Reserve towards the South-West by the said Railway Reserve to a point opposite the North-West corner of Lot 36 on Deposited Plan 8638, thence towards the North-West by Kiwi Street to the Northern Corner of Lot 27 on the said plan 8638, thence towards the North-East by Lake j Street to the South-Eastern corner of Lot i on Deposited Plan 8638, thence! towards the North-West by a line across a street and the North-Western boundaries of Lots 22 to 13 on Deposited Plan 7493 Walsh Street and Lots 11 to 1 on the said plan 7493 to the Northern corner of the said Lot I,' thence towards the North-East by a Street to the South-Eastern corner of the said Lot 1, thence by a line across a street to the Western corner of Lot 8 on Deposited Plan 305, thence towards the North-East by the said Lot 8 to the Southern corner of the said Lot 8, thence towards the SouthEast by Lot 41 on the said plan 305 and a line across a street to the Northern corner of Lot 13 on the said plan 305, thence towards the North-East by Ridout Street to the Northern corner of Lot 19 on the said plan 305, thence towards the South-East by the said Lot 19 to its Western corner, thence towards the North-East by a line across a street to the Northern corner of Lot 46 on the said plan 305, thence towards the South-East by the said Lot 46 to the Western corner of. such Lot, thence towards the North-East by Lots 46 to 55 of the said plan 305 and the Northern boundary of Lots 23 and 24 on Deposited Plan 9152 to the Western side of Maeroa Street, thence towards the East by Maeroa Street to the Southern corner of Lot 12 on Deposited Plan 9152, thence towards the North-West by a line across a street and the Northern boundaries of Lots 9 to 16 on Deposited Plan 7753 to the Northern corner of the last mentioned Lot 16, thence towards the NorthWest by a straight line to the Southern corner of Allotment 243 of the Parish of Pukete, thence towards the South-East by Dudley Terrace to the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream, thence towards tlie East and South-West by the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream to the commencing point. The amount proposed to be borrowed is £2OOO. The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of one sixtieth of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hamilton. It is proposed that the loan shall be repayable in not more than 361 years and to make provision for a sinking fund of not less than one per centum per annum.
