WEST HAM GUARDIANS.

The West Ham guardians-passed a resolution reiterating their refusal to reduce the outdoor relief from 59s to 55s weekly, as requested by the Minister of Health, after a violent discussion, in which tiie chairman of the Finance Committee said lie intended to fight, the Minister.
Other speakers declared their readiness to go to prison. The statement of accounts presented showed £150,000 deficit, £1,500,000 due to the Ministry of Health, while the £300,000 overdraft, at the bank, which was sanctioned by Parliament, was nearly exhausted. A letter ,was read from the bank insisting <>n restriction of I lie overdraft from day to day to one-third of the outstanding uncollected rates.
