Niveu and Co.. Ltd.. general and refrigerating engineers. The Company who are manufacturers of refrig.'rating machinery, are exhibiting their famous National freezing machines. They possess no suction valve, being worked enLirely on the port system, Being a Dominion production they are manufactured strictly t-o standard gauges, providing intercbangabilify of all parls and ensuring not only a ready supply of spare, parls guaranteed to fit. but the availability of service for whrh Ihc manufacturers have keen noted for well over a century. Other interesting exhibits are the Barnes extension bed lathe and Hie famous Cambridge gas producer, the lattcf being manufactured in Wellington. A large and varied range of ma* chinery for which the firm are sole agents or manufacturers, comprising fools and drilling machines. Keith blower fans, Blackmail fans, Guynne's centrifugal pumps, boilers and log haulers. Bruce Peebles motors, Auto Air Compressor plant, Temco electric drills, swamp harrows, machine cut gears. Schcvlcr carburetters, Bosch magnetos and the many other lines for wlu'ch they are noted will convey to visitors some idea, of the varied nature of the activities of this progressive firm. This organisation covers the whole of the Dominion from the North Cape to the Bluff, with Head Offices at Wellington and Engineering Works at Hamilton fOhakunc to Thames being included in this town's territory!. Wellington, Palmerston North, Napier, Wairoa ■ H. 8.) and Gisborne and branches at Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and London. A large and efficient staff of 27 skilled operatives under the able management of Mr T. A. Camphell, is employed at the foundry in 13ryec Street, where all classes of engineering work, castings in gun metal, brass, phosa, bronze, aluminum, iron and steel and machinery repairs are faithfully undertaken.
