A HEAVY POLL.
MR R. W. GIBBS RETURNED

Considerable interest has been shown in the poll for the ejection 'of the shareholders' director of the Bank of New Zealand. The poll was a heavy one. and the count was not completed until late last evening. While ' ifihe cxadt figures will not be announced until the annual meeting on June 20, it is understood that 'Mr Richard W, Gibbs, of Wellington, has been elected hy a majority of two lo one over Mr J. 11. Gunson, of Auckland.
