NGAHINEPOURI.
Electricity. Tiie Electric Power Board are making great headway with the erection of the poles and wiring in this district, and it should not be long now before wc will have our lights and motors installed. The Weather. We have been experiencing extremely bad weather for quite a spell now, and it is hoped there will be an improvement before Show week, as the roads have been badly cut up by the heavy motor trucks and will not be very pleasant for travelling unless the weather improves. Successful Dance. Our plain and fancy dress dance, which is to be held on Friday, 25th, promises to be a great success, and a large number should be present. Hockey. All hockey enthusiasts should turn up at tlie Sports Ground on Saturday, when the United and Ngahincpouri teams will meet, and as both are evenly matched a keen and interesting game should be the result.
