IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
MR MASSEY’S STATEMENT. MOST IMPORTANT GATHERING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Monday. The Prime Minister made a general slatement regarding the Imperial Conference, but did not throw much light upon the business that is taking him to I i>ndon. He said he was fully prepared ti take the decision of the House, but bo believed that the conference was going to be the most important'in connection with the history of the Empire, and cablegrams that had been published gave a pretty good idea of the matters that would be discussed. lie would prefer to remain in this country, but believed that Mr Lloyd George had strung reasons for asking for the attendance of Prime Ministers.
