CROQUET
FRANKTON TOURNAMENT. The Frankton ladies' croquet lawns are playing well for their tournament. The entries have constituted a record for the club and the finals will not be played until Tuesday in the singles, so numerous .are the entries. Some very close games were played on Saturday. Further results are:— ! Section A.—Mrs Andrews beat Mrs i Call, Mrs Bull beat Mrs Warneford, Mrs ', Ashby beat Mrs Galloway, Mrs Fraser ] Smith beat Mrs Gall, Mrs Gall beat Mrs ■ Ashby, Mrs Fraser Smith beat Mrs Bull. Section B. —Mrs Parker Hill beat Mr; Brown, Mrs T. B. Dillicar beat Mrs McGregor, Mrs McGregor beat Mrs Forbes. Section C.—Mrs Parker beat Mrs Harrison, Mrs Higgins beat Mrs Parker, Mrs Phillpott beat Mrs Higgins. Mrs lliilpott wins section C. The finals will be played to-morrow ».) 2.30 p.m.
